Andy Pettitte Placed on DL

"Yankees placed LHP Andy Pettitte on the 15-day disabled list, r
etroactive to March 21, with back spasms.
The Yankees are hopeful Pettitte will be able to pitch the fifth game of the season, but this gives them a little more flexibility. If Pettitte isn't ready to go then, perhaps Darrell Rasner will get the call. Jeff Karstens isn't going to be an option."
Darrell Rasner was also optioned to Triple A along with Jose Veras, Kei Igawa, Scott Patterson, and Edwar Ramirez.
