The Process Has Begun!!

Get your popcorn ready because it is official Joba Chamberlain has begun the process of becoming a starting pitcher. Joe Girardi announced after the game that the process of stretching out Joba has started after he pitched two innings and threw 35 pitches in tonight's 8-0 win over the O's. There was speculation when the Yankees promoted highly touted relief prospects J. Brent Cox to Scranton and Mark Melancon to Trenton. This could be the beginning of the next great Yankee pitcher and when a top of the rotation of Wang-Chamberlain could ultimately become one of the best in the league, up there with Sabathia-Carmona, Webb-Haren, and King Felix-Bedard.
