Knicks Tried For Artest
Over at ESPN they have in a trade deadline article that the Knicks were trying to acquire F-G Ron Artest from the Sacramento Kings. They were looking to deal centers Eddy Curry and Jerome James for Ron Artest and foward Kenny Thomas. The Kings, however, did not want to take on the contract of James, who is due $12.8 million over the next two years, and felt it defeated the purpose of trading Artest and Thomas was to shed Thomas' contract who is due $7.9 million next season and $8.6 million in 2009-10.
Even though Artest is a good player I do not want the Knicks to get him. He is trouble and can not be trusted, and having Artest and Randolph together makes it even worse. If the Knicks want to shed James contract fine just please do not get a head case like Artest.
P.S. What a bad game tonight 84-124 that is sad a 40 point difference.
