Hall Traded or Not?

ESPN:
"The Atlanta Falcons have reached an agreement in principle with the Oakland Raiders to trade cornerback DeAngelo Hall for the Raiders' second-round pick in the 2008 draft, pending the Raiders finalizing a contract with Hall, a source close to the Falcons told ESPN's Chris Mortensen."

that was the first report by ESPN earlier today.

Here is the 2nd report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"Somebody's throwing something out there," Hall told the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Saturday afternoon. Neither Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff nor Hall's agent have returned phone calls."

and now the 3rd also by the AJC:

"The Falcons could be close to trading defensive back DeAngelo Hall to the Oakland Raiders for second- and sixth-round picks in the April draft, according to a person close to the negotiations.

Hall, who denied the deal was close earlier Saturday, reportedly was in Oakland on Friday to meet with Raiders officials."

Well based on the 3rd one I am going to go with he got traded and this sucks. I can not believe the Giants did not jump in on this. Hall is one of the best corners in the game and probably the most talented. Put him on a defense like the Giants and his picks would probably jump up and give the Giants a shut down corner to pair with Aaron Ross. The price to get him isn't even that bad. I would throw a 2nd and 4th(or 5th) for him.

On the flip side the Raiders D looks amazing. Look at the secondary alone:
Nnamdi Asomugha, Gibril Wilson, and DeAngelo Hall. I would not want to be a QB trying to throw a pass against them.
