Knicks Get "Good" News

Rotoworld:
"Eddy Curry will have arthroscopic surgery to remove a piece of torn cartilage in his right knee. Recovery time will be four to six weeks, thus his season is over.

This news has been likely for nearly a week. Curry was a disappointment this season playing next to Zach Randolph, and his future in New York could be in question. Unless he learns how to rebound (or how to block shots), Curry may never be a productive fantasy player. David Lee will maintain his heavy minutes and Wilson Chandler will continue to get playing time, although Chandler doesn't have value right now."

Well he made the wise decision for both him and his team. He needs to heal for next season if he wants to put up half decent numbers. He also needs to be healthy in case the Knicks want to try to trade Curry on draft night. I have a strange feeling that the Knicks are going to come together in Curry's absence and play better and go on a couple win streaks causing their lottery chance to go down for the #1 overall pick. Lets just hope that they continue to lose and have a shot at Beasley or Rose.
