Giants Re-Sign Ward

ESPN:

"The New York Giants, who won the Super Bowl with one of the deepest backfields in football, retained one of their key backups Frday, reaching an agreement with halfback Derrick Ward.

Ward, 27, agreed to a one-year, $1.1 million deal with incentives that could allow him to make another $1 million. He stayed with a backfield that features Brandon Jacobs, Ahmad Bradshaw and Reuben Droughns."

Another good signing by the Giant's front office. Ward was amazing last year filling in Jacobs and really adds some depth. With Bradshaw showing he was a steal in the last round and Jacobs being complete beastley, and Ward who compliments both of them this team is looking really good.
