NY Scoreboard 3/19
- The Yankees defeated the Pirates 12 - 9.
- Good news was the offense was on including the minor leaguers. Bad news Hughes got rocked for 7 runs 6 earned in 4 innings. It is now official Joba Chamberlain will pitch in the bullpen.
- The Mets defeated the Indians 3 -1.
- Maine struck out 3 and threw 97 pitches, while giving up 1 run. Fernando Martinez was re-assigned after getting an RBI double today(against a lefty)
- The Rangers defeated the Devils 2 -1 in a shootout. Dawes scored the only shootout goal. Drury the only regulation goal.
- The Rangers are now 6-0 against the Devils this year.
- The Islanders were not in action today.
- Rick DiPietro's surgery was successful.
- The Knicks were not in action today.
