NY Scoreboard 3/23
The Yankees lost to the Pirates 8 - 0. Paul Maholm owned the Yankees pitching 6 scoreless innings, giving up only 2 hits all the Yankees would get.- The 2nd straight games the bats were dead, but don't look into it too much.
The Mets got destroyed 14 -4 by the Cards. El Duque gave up 5 runs in 3 innings and Pelfrey gave up 8 in 4.1 innings so that situation is still not solved.- The bright side is Delgado hit a double and Kunz only gave up 1 unearned run.
- The Rangers were not in action today.
- Their next game is Tuesday, March 25th against the Flyers.
The Islanders lost to the Flyers 3 -1.- Joey MacDonald made the start and gave up 3 power play goals. Mirslov Satan scored his own power play goal.
- The Knicks were not in action today.
- Their next game is Monday, March 24th against the Nets.
