Yanks Sign Moeller

"Yankees signed catcher Chad Moeller to a minor league contract.
Moeller had just been let go by the Nationals, and the Yankees wanted a little more catching depth with Francisco Cervelli out."
Makes perfect sense. Your catchers on the major league roster are older so you sign a vet in case you get injuries. Also that one of the players closer to the top of the depth charts in the minors fractured his wrist making it that much more important to sign backup help.
