Cabrera Signs Extension

"Miguel Cabrera and the Detroit Tigers reached a preliminary agreement Saturday on an eight-year, $153.3 million contract extension, a source close to Cabrera told ESPNdeportes.com on condition of anonymity.
The All-Star third baseman will undergo a physical on Monday to complete the deal, the source said.
You should get used to seeing Miggy in that uniform. Boy am I glad he is nowhere near the the NL East the guy is just a beast. The amazing thing is that at the end of this 8 year contract he will only be 32 and ready to sign another contract probably just as big if not even bigger than this. It is going to be real fun watching what this kid is going to do in the lineup the Tigers have. If he continues on this path he is a hall of famer and will go down with some of the all-time great sluggers in the game.
