NY Scoreboard 3/29
The Yankees defeated the Marlins 4 - 2. Phil Hughes pitched a good game giving up 1 earned run over 5 innings of work.
- Joba Chamberlain picked up the win despite pitching only two-thirds of an inning and Chad Moeller hit an inside the park home run.
In Today Civil Rights Game the Mets defeated the White Sox 3 -2 due to a bad call when Ryan Church allowed hit the ball with his glove over the fence in a call that should have been a home run, but was ruled a single.
- Beltran hit a home run and Delgado a double both looked good.
- The Rangers were not in action tonight.
- Their next game is Sunday, March 30th against the Penguins.
- The Islanders lost the the Flyers in a SO 4 - 3.
- The Islanders held the lead late until Mike Richards scored with less than 4 minutes in the game.
The Knicks were not in action today.
- Their next game is Sunday, March 30th against the Hawks.
