The Mets lost to the Phillies 5-2. Oliver Perez was taken out premature after pitching 5.2 scoreless innings. That moved cost the Mets a pitcher even though they got out of the inning. The Yankees lost to the Royals 5-2. Phil Hughes picked up the lost pitching 3 innings and giving up 3 runs. A-Rod went 0-4 with 4K's. Bannister picked up his 2nd win and Joakim Soria his 4th save. News came out that Jorge Posada will be taking an MRI on his shoulder.



The Rangers were not in action tonight as they were getting ready for their match up on April 9th (Wednesday) against the #4 seed the New Jersey Devils.
