Jeter, Church Okay
Yankees saw Jeter leave with an injury. The captain got drilled by a Cabrera fastball on the side of his left hand during the third inning. The X-rays were negative. Jeter has a contusion and is day-to-day. He had it wrapped afterward, but Jeter vowed that he would be back in the lineup tonight.
Prior to tonight’s game, Ryan Church told reporters that he never had a concussion, he is fine and expects to be back in the lineup during tomorrow’s finale against the Braves.

The Yankees need the Derek Jeter simply because he is the captain and after losing 9 of 12 falling to 20-25 they really need him in there.
