Roshenthal: Delgado For Sexson
The second time in a week this trade has been proposed last time by a New Jersey newspaper this time by Ken Rosenthal. Carlos Delgado for Richie Sexson straight up. Rosenthal dicusses how neither has a no-trade clause, their money is the same, and both have been unproductive.
...I have also been someone who has liked Sexson and still see some power in him, unlike Delgado could serve the Mets well. The right-handed bat, who fields the ball well, and can hit the long ball opposed to a terrible fielding 1st baseman, who has not hit a lick.
Don't see the Mets actually making this trade not up their ally so if Rosenthal wants a negative that is it.
