Schoenweis Took a Trip to the Hospital
Scott Schoeneweis experienced severe abdominal pain at his Greenwich, Conn., home on Tuesday night, prompting him to spend six hours in the hospital Wednesday morning with what doctors at one point feared was appendicitis. Schoeneweis, who said his arms turned blue for a while, guessed the ailment is probably a bug going around the team, since Joe Smith had similar trouble in L.A. Schoeneweis' stomach was still noticeably bloated after last night's game. He had experienced waves of freezing and shaking the previous night.
...It's good to see that Show was okay and the Mets need him because honestly he has been one of the best relievers on the team.
