Patterson Up Ensberg Down
The Yankees have recalled right hand relief pitcher Scott Patterson for an extra arm in the bullpen due to the bullpen getting over used as of late. For Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre he was 1-0 with a 3.04 ERA and three saves in 22 appearances. He had 22K's and 5 walks in 23.2 innings. He also allowed 22 hits and 2 home runs.
To make room the Yankees designated Morgan Ensberg for assignment. Ensberg had been struggling with only 15 hits and 4RBI's this season.
