Cervelli to have Surgery

Francisco Cervelli will undergo surgery on his fractured right wrist on Wednes
day.
Cervelli was injured in a collision at home plate on Saturday, and he'll miss 8-10 weeks as he recovers from the operation. He was scheduled to start the season at Double-A Trenton before the injury.
Again that was just a freak accident that resulted from a kid working hard to try and make a team, you can not blame him. Even though that 8 to 10 weeks is a long time Joe Girardi over reacted to the situation. If it was his player trying so hard he would be thrilled with the effort the guy gave him trying to make the ball club even though its side effects were bad.
