The New York Mets and lefty reliever Pedro Feliciano have agreed to a 1 year $1.025 million dollar contract.

The Mets are reportedly going to attempt to sign Kyle Loshe to a 1 year $5 million dollar contract but are still uncertain.
They will also try the free agent market to sign an OF to replace Carlos Gomez. One player that is possible is Kenny Lofton.
The Mets had reported refused to include lefty prospect Jon Niese. MetsProspectus has a very good scouting report on him if he are interested. Without him we would have pretty much no prospects that could help in 2-3 years and I can kind of see why they kept him since they have been high on him ever since he was drafted.

I would not mind a signing of Kyle Loshe too much although I would rather have Pelfrey and El Duque fight over it in ST. Confused on why they traded for Angel Pagan if they want to find an OF. Seeing as Kenny Lofton is a similar type player. I also respect Omar for being tough in the negotiations even though he had to get it done bravo.
