Ryan Hollweg Suspended One Game

In the New York Rangers 5-3 defeat over the Montreal Canadians winger Ryan Hollweg was given a 5 minute major and game misconduct for a hit from behind on Montreal's foward Sergei Kostitsyn in the 2nd period. (similar to the hit on the left) Hollweg was retaliating to a non call on Montreal's Alex Kovalev who elbowed Hollweg square in the face Hollweg's last shift. The NHL will take a look at both plays and possibly add games to Hollweg's or give Kovalev a one game suspension too.

Update 9:56 - LW Dane Byers was called up to replace Hollweg in tomorrow nights game verse the Kings
