" I sure I hope I’m not the only one who believes this cursed David Ortiz jersey story is a load of bull. How convenient this worker only showed up one day. How convenient a couple of other workers suddenly knew where to look. How convenient the site was pretty much untouched and easy for the diggers to locate the jersey, leaving plenty of room for the TV cameras. Question: If you hate the Yankees as much as this guy claims, then why don’t you wait until the day before the new stadium opens before spilling the story? Now, that would be embarrassing. Not buying this one for a second."

...I'm not sure what to believe. I know it is crazy how the guy came out and said he did it even and though he hates the Yanks he told them about it. You can also clearly see it's a bootleg jersey even though that plays no part just felt like throwing it out there. I can't see a BoSox fan wasting a jersey even if its fake and then getting nothing out of it except "legal action", but why would the Yanks waste money (even though they have more than enough) just to make up some stupid story about a curse?
