Jets Could Get 2 Picks For Robertson
"Dewayne Robertson is still property of the New York Jets, but it is likely just a matter of time before he switches to the blue and orange of the Denver Broncos.The Broncos and Jets have been talking about a trade that would send the defensive tackle to the Broncos since early March and are still keeping in touch. According to two NFL sources, the Jets gave Denver permission to talk to Robertson's agent, Hadley Engelhard, recently and that the two sides have come to accord on a deal. The Broncos will probably be willing to give the Jets a couple of second-day picks."
...Take it for what it is worth there are just so many Dewayne Robertson rumors floating around, but this idea has been thrown out there twice so there must be some validity to it. Two 2nd day picks aren't the prettiest looking, but they could wind up fitting the Jets scheme better than Robertson.
