Mark Jackson Next NY Coach?


"Former Knick Mark Jackson is emerging as a favorite to succeed Isiah Thomas. Jackson has no previous head coaching experience, but Donnie Walsh did give Larry Bird and Thomas their first head coaching jobs. However, there is some sentiment that Walsh may look to hire Jackson as his general manager, according to a source close to Walsh. Last year, Jackson interviewed for the GM job with the Memphis Grizzlies."

Not actually sure if he would do that much better as a coach than Isiah as a coach, although as a GM anyone could put together a better team than this. Jackson has a lot of routes in New York being born in Brooklyn, than being drafted by the Knicks, and playing 6 season here. This team needs change no matter what and they will never go anywhere under Isiah.
