The Mets lost to the Braves 11-5. John Maine got shelled for 4 runs in 4 innings, but just looked awful. Sosa gave up the big blow when Kelly Johnson unloaded a grand slam in the 7th inning putting Braves up by runs. Beltran hit ANOTHER double for 6 on the season and Delgado had a 2-4 night.


The Yankees lost to the Tampa Bay Rays 6-3. Pettitte picked up the loss with a line of 5 innings, 5 runs, 3 earned,3 K's and 2 walks. A-Rod and Posada accounted for most of the offense both going 2-4; A-Rod 1 RBI and Posada 2.
