Yankees beat the Rays 6-1. Mussina pitched great. He went 6 innings giving up only 1 run on a homerun by Jonny Gomes. Abreu was the offensive guru today going 3-3 with 1 walk. He had a single, double, homerun, and 2 RBI's. The big news was when Jeter was taken off the field with a leg injury.



The Rangers were not in action tonight as they were getting ready for their match up on April 9th (Wednesday) against the #4 seed the New Jersey Devils.
