The Mets have announced that right handed reliever Matt Wise has been placed on the 15-da
y DL with a contusion on his throwing arm.
To replace Wise the Mets have called up reliever Carlos Muniz from New Orleans. Muniz is off to a quick start this year already getting 2 saves after having 23 last year.
