Rangers, Devils Should Be a Good One

The Rangers have a clear cocky yet confident attitude over the Devils. After taking a series lead of 2-0 the Rangers hold a 9-0-1 record against the Devils this season. It has been absolute dominance and Lundqvist has been unstoppable only giving up 1 goal in each of the 1st 2 games. Marty Brodeur has looked befuddled on some of the goals namely Callahan's, Jagr's, and Avery's 2nd goal. He has been playing terrible and may not have enough time to recover which is a great thing in a 7 game series.

Friday night's game was one greatly played "playoff type" game. It was all about goaltending and fighting. There were no fights, but a hell of a lot of penalties and shoving battles. There were a total of 17 fights, 6 of them for fighting, and one of them for Avery getting in Brodeur's face. The 14 of the penalties came in the 2nd period, but it was still crazy throughout the whole game.

It should be crazy when the game goes to Madison Square Garden and the whole place is filled with Ranger fans instead of 60% of the building like it was in the rock. Everyone has to bring out the blue jerseys to counter act the Devils lame try to get their "fans" to wear red. The Ranger fans were so great all the way at The Rock that it got into the Devil's heads and the security had to confiscate blue pom pons Ranger fans had.

I am looking to see a fight or two and a low scoring game with a lot of shouting matches and the Rangers to come out on top 3-2 with goals by Freddy Sjostrom, Nigel Dawes, and Marty Straka.
