Adam Bostick Next Mets Starter?
The Mets have announced that if they play all of their upcoming games they will be headed to the minor leagues to have someone pitch rather than have Johan Santana or Mike Pelfrey pitch on short rest. During yesterday's game in AAA lefty Adam Bostick was pulled after three innings of work and not because of injury. Bostick was acquired, along with Jason Vargas, for Matt Lidstrom and Henry Owens. He has put up good numbers the minors with a 3.83 ERA.
