Yankees v. Twins 7-6 (W)
Over .500! It is good to see at least one New York team over the .500 mark to start June. One is at .500 and one is over so maybe this is the time when we see both teams go on a tear and take their leagues by storm like we expected in the beginning of the year when both teams spent a lot of money in the off season.

Wang or Wang where have you gone? This is the third straight game Wang has given up 5 or more runs dating back to the game against the Mets causing he ERA to rise all the way up to 4.14. Despite giving up 5 runs Chien-Ming Wang left with a chance to win, but it was blown by Edwar Ramirez. Ross Ohlendorf got into some trouble in extra innings, but still managed to pick up the win because of Mariano Rivera's beastliness and getting his 15th save of the season just manhandling the other team.
Bobby Abreu for the second straight night is just on fire. Tonight going 2-5 with a double, single, a steal, and 2 RBI's. Abreu's RBI single in the 12th inning turned out to be the winning run.
Alex Rodriguez's quad was visibly better tonight with 2 steals and 2 RBI's on only 1 hit.
Johnny Damon continued his quietly good season with 2 hits, a steal, and an RBI in 5 at-bats.
