Rhodes Signs Extension
"The Jets and Kerry Rhodes have agreed to a contract extension. Now, it's not finalized but that should take place Thursday morning. The deal I'm hearing is five years for 33.5 million with 20 million guaranteed. Not bad for a guy who made $354,400 in non-acting work last season.
An argument could be made that in an offseason of big splash signings by the Jets, this was the most important one."
I'm a big Kerry Rhodes fan so of course I love this signing. Rhodes has been absolutely solid and was spectacular last season. This sets up a great secondary for a long time with Rhodes and Revis back there.
